Through the exploration of material research and investigation of adaptive reuse of materials, a new approach toward a mine site that is in economically challenged urban zone has been settled. Adapting the form of "foam", or porous structure, scaffolding sytem can be applied to reconcile the cultural, environmental, and economical issues of the site. Sudbury in Canada can be now regenerated and developed into a form of new material research facility and places where people can reinvetigate the values of our natural resources.
